Story
This puppy is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $250 if picked up in TN, $325 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Meet Hazel, an adorable 8-month-old Chihuahua mix brimming with puppy energy and sweetness. Weighing in at 12.5 pounds, Hazel loves both people and dogs, making her a perfect companion for a lively household. Hazel's playful nature shines through in her favorite activities. She loves playing with the other puppy in her foster home, chasing after balls (though she's still learning to bring them back), and chewing on her favorite bone. Her curious spirit leads her to explore new objects, people, and places with enthusiasm. While Hazel is still mastering her training commands, she is working diligently on house training and has made significant progress with only a few accidents. She sleeps soundly in her crate at night, only making noise when she needs to go out. Hazel is not a fan of loud noises like vacuums and hair dryers, and she’s still adjusting to baths. She has typical puppy behaviors such as nipping and chewing on shoes, and she’s working on improving her leash manners. Hazel enjoys cuddling and is a loyal, sweet-tempered pup with plenty of playful energy. She would thrive in a home with adults, a fenced yard for her to play in, and ideally, another similar-sized dog to keep her company. If you're looking for a fun-loving, affectionate addition to your family, Hazel could be the perfect match! Interested in adopting? All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. July 3, 2024, 1:02 pm
