Story
Czar’s story has a sad, sad beginning, but it’s time for it to have its happy ending! 📕 Born as an Amish puppy, he was purchased at 8 weeks by a family that didn’t know much about dogs and less about German Shepherds. While they probably didn’t mean any harm, their lack of socializing him, focus on punishment, and allowing the children to torment him resulted in a very insecure, terrified, and aggressive boy who then found himself at a shelter strapped with TWO muzzles. At one year of age, Czar hadn’t met a single person in his whole life he could trust and was unsurprisingly petrified and lashing out. When we were asked for help handling him, we immediately recognized that this “aggressive” puppy was so, so terrified. He realized in all of 20 minutes that I was trustworthy and gave me kisses to show his gratitude. Two years later, Czar still had my heart. So he came to my home to relearn life, and OMG IS THIS DOG ONE IN A MILLION! My inability to keep him for myself is someone else’s lottery win. 💔 Now that he’s seen people can be kind and loving, Czar looooves people, happily greeting visitors, delivery drivers, mail carriers, etc. He even does well with toddlers (but to err on the side of caution, we’re going to recommend kids a little bit older who know not to manhandle him). Plus he lives with lots of other dogs of all shapes and sizes and has done well with cats and horses too! Czar loves belly rubs, running with four wheelers, getting brushed, and going for car rides. This big boy does take a low dose of Prozac daily, which we recommend he stay on at least for the time being as puppyhood trauma takes its toll long term. He’s about 4 and crate trained and housetrained too! What we’re looking for in Czar’s new home is a person/family experienced with German Shepherds and lots room for him to run, as he’s really taken to farm life and would happily spend all his time outside if he could. Most importantly, however, is a gentle and kind hand rather than the harsh training he previously dealt with. Of course Czar is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped! This essay should make it clear that Czar is insanely special to us, and we will be incredibly selective about where our sweet boy ends up. If you can give him the one in a million home he deserves, please fill out an adoption application here: www.tiogacountycatproject.com/adoption

Story
My name is Marta and I started my life off as an accidental litter and when I was only 6 weeks old The man who owned my mom took all of me and my siblings to a Walmart parking lot and started handing us out. I really wonderful rescue woman knew this was wrong and stepped up to take me and my brother who we are both called Wally and Marta in honor of the Walmart parking lot that we ended up in. My foster mom who is done a lot of fostering over the years says I am the best puppy she's ever had. I am smart, I listen, I've already been housebroken, and I play with the very dominant big English bulldogs at the house. I hold my own but yet I am still a little lady. I probably am going to be a 50 lb girl when I grow up to be a beautiful adult. I am looking for a home now and my Foster mom says she's going to shed a few tears when I leave. But she knows I must go so she can foster others. If you are interested in knowing more about me please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.September 7, 2024, 2:55 pm

Story
Prince is an 8 month old neutered male yorkie/poodle mix who weighs 5 pounds. These puppies were rescued when they were in need of a better home situation where they will be loved and cared for. They came to us flea infested, but they are as cute as can be and we know that they perfect homes are waiting for them. These puppies have tested well with other dogs and would do best with smaller dogs due to their size. Their families should be dedicated to potty training them since they have most likely never lived inside before. If you are interested in adopting, please submit an adoption application on our website www.justice-rescue.comJustice Rescue - 17663Malvern, PA 19355
