Story
Meet Otis! You may have already seen him on our pages, as this guy really grabbed our attention earlier this year when an ill-fated play session with a frisbee led to weeks of critical medical care. Yep, he ate the teeniest piece of the toy, and well, everything went wrong after that. But not to worry: Otis has fully recovered. He will not have any long-term effects from this ordeal, other than a very strict no-frisbee-eating rule. Otis is now finally ready to leave our prison program and head off to home life. He graduated from the EPIC Program with flying colors -- such a smart cookie, this one.Otis loves training. Like, he really, really loves it. Learning is his jam, and we're hopeful that his future family will keep it up. We will review all of his known skills with potential adopters and provide documents to support his continuing education journey. We think Otis's ideal home is a nice mix of active and low key. He likes to play and be outside, but he's also a fantastic cuddler. Otis bonds really closely to his human friends and is so affectionate and playful. He's made a couple dog friends, but he's a bit pickier about those -- really needs someone who meshes well with his play style. In his last home, Otis lived with kids and did pretty well. He loves those small humans. Now almost 2 years old, fully housetrained, and with a bunch of skills to show off, Otis is ready to get adopted. Will he be yours? For more information about our adoptable dogs and/or to submit an adoption inquiry, please visit meridianrescue.org.

Hey there! I'm Patrick, your soon-to-be best furry friend!   I'm a super loyal and laid-back pup who absolutely loves hanging out with other dogs. My favorite activity? Pool time, hands down! ? I'm crate trained, fully housebroken, and I adore spending time with my foster brothers in the yard, rain or shine.  Humans are my favorite beings, and I'll do anything to make them happy. I'm also a great travel buddy, as I'm really good in the car. I'm fully vetted and microchipped, just waiting for the perfect family to call my own. Could that be you? Let's make some unforgettable memories together! Patrick will be arriving at his new foster home in Independence, OR on August 12th. He will be available for meet and greets with potential adopters. You can see our posts because we have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest & East Coast. This allows us to post in areas 250 miles radius from our fosters locations. Why adopt from Texas because our city is in crisis and animals die by the hundreds in our shelters never able to find a place to call home. We find homes for those that are in our care, and then able to help more in need. We also offer transport from Houston to your area every other week. If you have fallen madly in love and would like to make this baby part of your family, then go to https://www.petstablished.com/organization/920716 ##2129587##

Meet Happy boy Casper! From the moment we met Casper his gentle nature was apparent and his smile spread joy to our faces.. We could tell there was something special about this 1 year old boy who weighs in at a solid 58 pounds of sweetness. Casper is the epitome of easy going happy boy. He’s a laid-back pup who can entertain himself with a toy, so he’d thrive in a home where he might be the only dog, but he’s also more than happy to share his space with a furry friend. He’s had positive interactions with both big and small dogs, and he’s shown his generous spirit by sharing toys during playgroups. Casper loves to play with his toys with you. His favorite game is tug o war. He also loves when he rolls over and you tickle his belly. His loyalty is unmatched, and he’s sure to become your best friend and a loving companion. Given his gentle demeanor, Casper would also be a wonderful addition to a home with children. He’s a great pup who’s ready to bring affection to a family who will appreciate his sweet nature. Casper has been in a foster home with 9 other dogs of various sizes. He did so fantastic the littles even loved him. Casper would love a home that would take him on walks, play with him with his toys and cuddle him always! Casper loves affection and will show his family the same devotion and loyalty. Casper is also a great car rider and good on leash. This makes him a great dog to talk with you on errands or hikes. If you’re looking for a calm, friendly, and devoted buddy, Casper is the perfect match! Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 25% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $62 surcharge for transport. Story
Scout loves to be carried like a baby, has one floppy ear and one straight, loves toys, is so friendly, great with other dogs and playfully respectful of cats. Oh, almost forgot- he likes the water and has solid leash skills. Okay, covered it all! Adopt him today! If you want to read more, take a few minutes to watch his cuteness in action, then come back and read more but by then you will likely be in love! Scout is an adorable 34 lbs at an estimated 10 months old. So far he is giving itty-bitty shepherd and isn’t expected to get much bigger. In rescue, age and breed are observations, never guarantees, but Scout has some cute shepherd like features with a playful, friendly personality. Scout was introduced to a variety of dogs and was friendly and playful with them all, from small to large, the most natural connection being with a similar aged playful dog. He would absolutely love to have a canine playmate in his forever home. His love of other dogs doesn’t take away from his connection with people. He adores people and is a friend from the start. Thanks to size and personality, Scout has apartment/condo potential but would love a yard for bouncing around and playing with his toys. An ideal home can look like a lot of things with Scout, he is ready to fit right in! When we introduced Scout to our house cat he was obviously eager to play but took a hint easily when the cat rejected him with a swat on the nose. A dog savvy cat would be best but with slow introductions and clear boundaries, Scout could’ve peacefully with a feline friend. Scout has great basic leash skills but will benefit from continued leash work, socialization, and adventures to ensure he can build on that great base. His attentive nature to people and intelligence will likely translate into a fast learning and obedient dog. If you have any questions about Dumpling or would like us to test her for a specific setting or detail, please be in touch! We can make most anything happen to ensure she is the correct fit for you and your life! Please email samanthar@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions.
