Story
Niko is 5 years old with a lot of energy. He absolutely adores attention and will make sure your idle hands are petting him. He is a springy boy that loves to jump onto people he's happy to see. He is a very defensive boy too and likes to bark at unfamiliar noises, so apartment life is not suitable. He doesnt have a good recall so he needs to be on a leash. When his favorite people arent around he does get a bit sad and lays about until the people he likes returns. He does eat, drink, and go outside to use the bathroom during this time. When it comes to toys he loves to destroy and attempt to eat them, so toys that are completely edible for dogs is advised. When it comes to children he's fine with older children around once getting to know them while smaller children might get bulldozed by his playfulness. We have to give Niko up due to incompatibility with cats in our living situation. So we do this with a heavy heart. We are more that willing to help get comfortable to a new family.

Story
Creed is approx 1.5 - 2yrs old. He is easy to handle & leash up, tolerates all over touch, walks well on the leash and has good handler focus, He is super food motivated so that would work in his favor for training & takes food & treats gently. Creed is dog friendly and was a staff favorite at the shelter he came from. He responds well to direction and needs minimal leash pressure or correction. Neutered, Vaccines are up to date, microchipped and crate trained. Reach out with any questions 208-509-7245

Story
MEET MEERA! Meera is a beautiful and small 5-1/2-year-old blue & white American Staffordshire Terrier in need of a forever home. She's currently in a foster home. Meera is a fun-loving girl - she loves the ball, loves toys, loves to go for walks and loves to take naps! She's short in stature and weighs only about 45 lbs. Meera is a loving and cuddly girl and would do great with a single person, a couple, or a family with older kids. She would do well in a condo or apartment, too. She loves car rides, and loves to go out and about and enjoy the sunshine. She is not a fan of other dogs, so needs to be the only dog in the home. She's also got a prey drive, so no cats, please. Please email for an application!

Story
Leah is a young spayed female stock dog mix. She is mostly border collie. There could be a little cattle dog in there. She is smart as a whip. She is extremely playful and social with other dogs. She is a blank slate. Somebody dumped her at the shelter as a 4-month-old pup and she spent the last 3 months here in Rescue waiting for a new home. We are just baffled as to why nobody has applied for this beautiful smart trainable athletic ready to go girl! She is still a puppy so needs to continue her housebreaking crate training and obedience but she's doing extremely well. She does chase cats so a home without, Or with someone who is willing to train her to leave them be. She needs an active athletic home where she can get the exercise that she needs with an experienced pet owner. These dogs are extremely smart and their potential is boundless with someone who has a little handiness in training

Story
Stanley is a purebred neutered male young adult Frenchie. He has been bounced around a bit, and has had at least two homes we know of before being dumped at a shelter in Utah. We suspect it was due to his food allergies, which are pretty normal for the breed nothing too severe. He has signs of chronic untreated ear infections with the broken down ear. He had pretty nasty bilateral ear infections when he arrived and we have treated him successfully. A good high quality chicken and grain free kibble has helped make him less itchy and more comfortable. He could use better .. someone familiar with the extra care the breed needs nutritionally. Most people I've talked to cook for their Frenchies, fresh healthy food for their sensitive systems. Other then that he's perfect. Super playful, sweet, housebroken, and pretty good with other dogs. He was recently neutered so he is "bravado" is continuing to dissipate, but he still has moments of "all male" naughty and can offend a dog that didn't know how to handle him. He's a noisy "player" and likes to wrestle. For this reason I will not place him in a home with a larger dog. Especially another bully breed. I'd consider a Lab or similar , brother or sister
