Story
Bear’s journey has been challenging, but he deserves a loving home. His first owners surrendered him to the Humane Society. He spent most of his time in a hallway and was bullied by a Chihuahua with his first owners. His second owners rescued him but struggled to integrate him with their two other dogs, leading to fights. Unfortunately, Bear bit them during these incidents, prompting them to consider euthanasia. A couple stepped in on 11/28/2024 to save him, planning to make him part of their family. However, Bear didn’t get along with their dog, causing anxiety and tension. Bear thrives in a stable environment as the only dog, with a dedicated owner willing to help him feel secure and loved. While he struggles with smaller dogs (especially Chihuahua-types), he’s a big, affectionate baby who craves attention and cuddles. If you or someone you know can help, please contact us. Bear needs a new home by 12/1/2024 or later if we are contacted.
