Story
Pepper is a gentle, kind, and loving 1-year-old brown tiger domestic shorthair cat looking for his forever home! While Pepper is a bit more shy than his brother Pickle, he’s just as sweet and affectionate once he feels comfortable. This shy guy takes a little time to warm up, but once he does, he’s an outgoing, cuddly companion who will charm you with his gentle purrs and loving nature.Pepper came in with his brother, Pickle, and the two share a very special bond. Pepper would love to find a home where he can stay with Pickle, but he’ll also thrive in a home where he has time and patience to adjust at his own pace. Pepper is a friendly guy who gets along with other cats, dogs, and cat-savvy kids and adults. He’s an easy-going cat who will fit in with almost any family dynamic.Pepper’s ideal home is one where he can continue to grow in confidence with the help of a loving family who understands his more reserved nature. If you’re looking for a sweet and loyal companion who will become more outgoing and affectionate as he settles in, Pepper is the cat for you!Our shelter is open Tuesday-Sunday from 12-4 (closed Mondays). If you are interested in this pet, please review our adoption process at www.lowellhumanesociety.org/adoption/#process so you`re prepared to adopt & stop by the shelter with the required information to take home this pet.

Story
Meet Penny! This pretty lady might take a little time to warm up but once she does she enjoys spending time with her family and meeting new people. In fact, she doesn`t want to have to share your attention with any other animals and would do best as the only animal in the home.If you think this cat could be a good match for your home and would like to learn more, stop by our Boston Adoption Center. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 12pm-3pm – no appointment needed. Preparing your home for your cat ahead of time can help ease the transition for your new pet and set you both up for success should there be a cat that’s a good match! To learn more about how to make the first few weeks with your new cat the most successful it can be, please visit www.mspca.org/petresources.
