My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Matthew is trying VERY hard to overcome his social awkwardness!
He wants to be friends with the other cats, but he keeps "doing it wrong" and he's not sure now how to get his good intentions across.
He likes people (he takes a minute to warm up to a stranger, but then he's very sweet!) and really enjoys attention! It does take him a little time to figure out how to play with toys, but he's getting much better at that! (It helped him to watch another cat play, first.)
So if you know anyone who wants a cat who is desperate for love (from people and other cats, alike), but is having trouble learning how to communicate that, can you please send them Matthew's way?

Matthew is 1-2 years old, neutered, and current on his vaccinations. His adoption fee is just $65.

Matthew has been vaccinated, wormed, spayed/neutered and tested negative for FELV/FIV which is all included in the $65 adoption fee. If you would like to adopt this cat, you must come into the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 12-4. (Closed Mondays & Wednesdays) All cats must leave the shelter in a carrier. If you do not bring one with you, one must be purchased at the shelter if available for $5.
