Personality:
Poppy creates a very strong bond with his owner. He will always want to sit by your side and give you companionship, whether you are sitting with your laptop or sitting on the toilet. Poppy isn’t afraid to let you know when he wants attention. He will come right up to you, rub his body against you and demand with the cutest meows (some even say they sound like puppy barks) to be pet, purring the whole time. With new humans he is shy and it may take a day for him to feel comfortable.

Play:
Poppy is a very playful, athletic guy and is good at entertaining himself. Poppy will find just about any random object (favorites include hair ties and pen caps) in the house and kick it around like a soccer ball. He also loves to burn off some energy with his brother Peaches by taking turns chasing each other up and down the house.

Cuddles:
Poppy LOVES the full body pets and will sometimes sit on your lap. He isn’t a fan of being held for too long, but never complains about it. He sleeps in the human bed at night and likes to cuddle up right next to you when you watch TV (sometimes he likes to watch too).

Kids? Other Pets?:
Poppy would do well with kids and with other cats. Although he doesn’t have experience with dogs yet, he would likely warm up to dogs with the right introduction and time.

Since Poppy is shy when you first meet him, he is seeking an owner that understands that and is willing to grow with him to create that special bond that Poppy has created with his foster mom. In the end, you will have an amazing bond with an adorable cat and you won’t be able to get enough of each other!
