Story
Sweet Dalsim is ready to board her flight upon adoption.
Background
In December 2022, during the bitter winter months, Dalsim was rescued from a dog meat farm in Ganghwa, Korea, along with 50 other lucky dogs. From the very beginning, she stood out as one of the most gentle, sweet, and friendly souls, and she was the very first to be adopted. She lived happily with a little Maltese companion until this spring, when unfortunately, her adopter’s health issues made it impossible to continue caring for her. Dalsim returned to our care and is now living safely at our partner boarding house with other dogs.
Personality & Socialization
Dalsim has a medium energy level and a personality that reminds us of a Retriever—friendly, affectionate, and easygoing. She gets along beautifully with other dogs, both big and small, and especially enjoys the company of gentle dogs. She is very submissive, quiet, and loving, and has never shown aggression.
When it comes to people, Dalsim is a sweetheart through and through. She is gentle, affectionate, and always happy to be around her humans. She does not show signs of separation anxiety and is a calm, reassuring presence in the home.
Behaviors
Dalsim is an easygoing and well-mannered dog. She is house-trained, walks nicely on leash, and is quiet indoors—rarely barking. She handles vet visits, car rides, and bath time without fuss. She’s not a demanding or needy dog, making her very easy to care for and an absolute joy to have as a companion.
Health & Diet
Dalsim is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations. She receives monthly parasite preventatives and has shown no signs of allergies.
Ideal Home
Dalsim would be a wonderful addition to almost any family. With her mellow, gentle nature and sweet, slightly goofy personality, she’s the kind of dog that brings peace and happiness to a home. She would do best in a calm environment with an adopter who has time to spend with her and, ideally, another friendly dog for companionship.
Whoever welcomes Dalsim into their life will be very lucky to have her.
