Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Yes, Alma looks a little grumpy. Well, to be honest, she can be a little grumpy. Alma likes to be pet but does not like to be picked up and handled or held and she probably won't be a lap cat. Alma is more of a "I'm going to sit on my cat tree and watch the birds, nap in the sun and only be pet when I want to be pet" kind of cat. Basically, Alma just wants a retirement home. The good news is, Alma is currently in a community room with other cats and is doing well so she could retire with friends if you have other cats! With that being said, she probably won't appreciate a rambunctious kitten. Calm, adult cats that mind their own business are more her speed.
So if you have the perfect retirement home for Alma, she is waiting for you at the shelter!
Alma has been vaccinated, wormed, spayed/neutered and tested negative for FELV/FIV which is all included in the $70 adoption fee. If you would like to adopt this cat, you must come into the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 12-4. (Closed Mondays & Wednesdays) All cats must leave the shelter in a carrier. If you do not bring one with you, one must be purchased at the shelter if available for $5.
