Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This guy is a character. He's got a very goofy demeanor -- the way he moves hunkered low to the ground, his shiny black coat flouncing as he runs from room to room. He loves to play -- regardless of whether it's interactive toys with people, with another cat, or on his own hunting a little stuffed dragon-fly. He seems to have a particularly good time romping with his foster-brother Simba -- in a dream world, I'd love them to find forever homes together...but at the very least, Rocky will be happiest in a home with other cats.
He's not all play, though; he has a very snuggly side (though only when he decides it's time -- it can't be forced on him). He likes to slink over and flop down next to you while watching tv, reading, or falling asleep. He's not a big fan of being held, nor is he much of a "lap cat," but he loves to spoon up against your body for lots of snuggles. When being pet, his whole body reacts to your touch, which makes it such a pleasant experience for both the petter and the pettee.
Upon first introduction, he comes off as a bit of a "scaredy-cat" -- he's been known to vanish shortly before the arrival of a potential adopter. BUT this should not deter you -- it's just because he had a rough kittenhood. He needs a little bit of time to get used to you, and you will soon get to enjoy all his quirky affection.
