Sensitive, soulful, mostly house broken, and good with dogs but honestly, I think I would really love the solo life. Having a human(s) to myself is a dream. Wanna spend my golden years together? Can't wait to meet you! *please note All of our dogs are in private foster homes. Once you fill out an application it will be screened by our volunteer adoption team. From there, if your application looks like a good fit for the particular dog, it will be sent to the foster where you can ask all the questions you would like and schedule a meet and greet. Hello, my name is Billy. I am a Chihuahua and dachshund mix. I am 12 years old and 10 lbs. I am neutered, up to date with vaccines. I am great with people. I'd like to snuggle with my furever mom or dad. I am good with other dogs that I am familiar with. I take a minute to warm up to them, but once I do they're family! I love my crate. I am great on the leash. I do have arthritis. I don't have any other behavioral issues. I was living with my mom for almost all of my life at her memory care facility, but they can't take care of me anymore. So, I am staying with her daughter and her doggies while I wait for my furever home. She would gladly keep me, but it's too much as a permanent situation because she has 2 other dogs. Nevertheless, she is happy to have me until I find a great home.

Story
Starski is a 2 year old male Chiweenie Mix. He is a little guy who loves to roll around on the grass. He is pretty low maintenance, and would thrive in any home as long as he is loved, and getting table scraps is always a bonus. Starski's favorite day time activity is sitting on your feet while you make lunch. Starski came with 9 other dogs named Cobra, Dumpling, Ganta, Milo, Molly, Saki, Soju, Tempura, and Ziti from an overcrowded shelter who asked us to help. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. Please visit our social media platforms for the specifics for each weekend as it changes from week to week. The Lovejoy Foundation, Inc. does not adopt beyond a 30 mile radius from our headquarters in Inglewood.
