AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION!

Meet Ivory! He is 2 yrs. old and wants to  brighten up someone's life with his happy, energetic personality. He is house trained, crate trained, smart, and knows his basic commands.  This boy needs a quiet household with no small children, since he can be excitable.  Ivory is 2 yrs old and is a nice small to medium sized dog at about 24   lbs. He loves his walks and does very well on a leash; so he will be happy to help you get your daily exercise. He is selective about his doggie friends; but seems to do best with smaller dogs. Ivory thrives on structure, so he would do well with someone who is willing to provide training and leadership, as well as plenty of exercise.  He does best with smaller dogs; and no cats please. Want to meet him? Adoption fee: $225. Fee includes his neuter, microchip and current vaccinations. For an adoption application, visit http://spotsavespets.org/adoption-application-dogs/ or email SPOT at info@spotsavespets.org to meet Ivory!

About SPOT (Saving Pets One at a Time)

About Our Rescue Group...

SPOT was created to fill the need to save animals who “fall through the cracks” in our sheltering system. Local shelters are overwhelmed—they receive so many strays and owner turn-ins that they run out of space and have to kill thousands of animals each year. The majority of these animals are healthy and simply need to be placed into a home. Others are medical cases which require some work, but do not have life-threatening diseases or injuries. And a few have some moderate behavior issues; we work with specialists to correct these behaviors before finding them their forever home. The bottom line is SPOT can save these lives.

Come Meet Our Pets...

All of the SPOT pets are in foster homes. To meet an animal, please email us. We can tell you when the next adoption event at a local pet store will be held, or we can set up a time to meet with you.

Our Adoption Process...

SPOT adopts puppies less than 1 year- $325, dogs 1-5 yr- $225, 6 yr- $150. Our kittens are $125 and teenagers and adults are much less. We often have low pricing during kitten season.
We ask you to complete an adoption application. A home check will be scheduled to be sure there are no inadvertent dangers in your home or yard. A meet and greet will be arranged so that your whole family can meet your new pet before adopting him/her. We want to make sure it is a good fit since it is a commitment for the animal’s lifetime.
